Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman said the Muslims have celebrated Eid after a month of fasting. But the real joy of Eid-ul-Fitr will be ensured only then when Muslim communities would give up all human-made doctrines and establish the Deen of Allah as victorious. The Muslims on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr said Taqbil repeatedly. The Taqbir Allahu Akbar substantiates that Allah is greater than everything. The rule of Allah is superior to everything. So, we have to make conscious efforts to establish the rule of Allah in every sphere of society.

He said this while addressing the Eid reunion program organized by Dhaka south city Jamaat-e-Islami. Central executive committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the program which was hosted by city secretary and Jamaat’s working committee member Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud. Among others, Jamaat’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary-General Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim, central executive committee members Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Principal Ijjat Ullah, Islami Chhatrashibir’s central president Razibur Rahman Polash, central working committee member Monjurul Islam Bhuiyan, Dhaka north city Jamaat’s Acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, Narayanganj city Ameer Abdul Jabbar, Dhaka south city Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakir, Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, Assistant Secretary Md. Delawar Hossain, Md. Kamal Hossain, Dr. Abdul Mannan, late Professor Ghulam Azam’s son Mamun Al Azami, Shaheed Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami’s son Barrister Nazibur Rahman Momen, Maulana Delawar Hossain Sayedee’s son Masood Sayedee, Shahid Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid’s son Ali Ahmad Mabrur, Shaheed Kamaruzzaman’s son Hasan Imam Wafy, Shaheed Abdul Quader Molla’s son Hasan Jamil and Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali’s son Mir Muhammad Bin Quasem addressed the program.

Allah is the only decider. So, unless we fail to implement His order, Eid will remain fruitless for us. The main target of this celebration is to put a smile on the face of impoverished people. But even during his holy occasion, the government is continuing to deceive the people. They kept Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman behind the bar and re-arrested Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar and other leaders repeatedly from the jail gate. The government is frequently denying the court order. Bangladesh’s image is being tarnished in the global arena. A huge amount of money is being laundered to foreign nations. People have no right to cast votes or freedom to speak up. There is no alternative but a massive movement for getting rid of this situation.

Maulana ATM Masum said we have passed the Eid amid severe repression. The government is using all the state apparatus to oppress the opposition. Ramadan teaches us Taqwa and the main spirit of Taqwa is not losing hope in Allah and also carrying out relentless struggle to establish His rule in the society and every aspect of life.

Hamidur Rahman Azad said we have been working in Bangladesh to establish a society based on the Quran and Sunnah. We should try to be the favorite servant of Almighty Allah. Allah gives leadership to qualified people and being a believer, we should make a sincere effort to gain those qualities.

Maulana Abdul Halim said certainly Allah assists those who are fearful of Allah and sincere believers. Through fasting, we have tried to acquire these two qualities. Now we have to reflect on those two qualities on the field in our regular activities of the Islamic movement.

Nurul Islam Bulbul thanked all the guests and speakers for attending this program and said, “I became emotional after listening to the speeches of our martyr families. If we become sincere to accomplish the unfinished tasks of our martyrs, we will be able to reach the ultimate destination. He urged all workers to become more active in the activities of the Islamic movement.

Islami Chhatrashibir Central President Razibur Rahman Polash said the teachings of Ramadan are significant for the Islamic movement activists. This is the month of Dawah. We saw many people inside the mosque this time, who do not come usually. So, if we keep them connected with the mosque and the Islamic movement, then the victory of Islam will be facilitated.

The members of the martyr’s families also delivered their speeches in the program recalling the memories of the martyrs which made the listeners emotional.
