A virtual workers’ conference was organized by Comilla South organizational district on 28th April. District Ameer and central Majlish-e-Shura member Advocate Muhammad Shahjahan presided over the program. Jamaat’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman spoke on the occasion as the chief guest. Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher and Acting Secretary General of the organization Maulana ATM Masum addressed the program as the special guest.

Acting Ameer Professor Mujibur Rahman said, we have to overcome the test of this world based on the spirit of Taqwa. We have to stick to Quran and Sunnah and have to accomplish all works accordingly. We should carry out effective measures to alter the laws, created and enacted by human being. We have to establish the Quranic law instead.

Acting Ameer stated that, we have to take all out preparations for attending the next parliamentary elections. Under the patronization of Jamaat-e-Islami, the system of having a break for attending the prayers and also for offering for the deceased was initiated. We have to lead a life free from pride and arrogance. We have to take a stand by the side of the helpless and impoverished communities.

Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Taher said Bangladesh has turned into a failed state. We have to undertake maximum preparation for launching a movement against the incumbent fascist, autocratic, and destructive government. We want a significant change, which will be constructive and positive for us, for our families, societies, and the state.

Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum said we have to enter into Islam completely. Although, there is no Islamic law in this Muslim-majority country. So, we have to play a due role to establish the Quranic law.

Among others, Jamaat’s central executive committee member Abdur Rab, Jamaat’s Comilla city Ameer Kazi Deen Mohammad, central Majlish-e-Shura member Professor Liakat Ali Bhuiyan and Comilla North district Ameer Professor Abdul Matin addressed the program as the special guests. The program was hosted by Dr. AKM Syed Sarwar Uddin Siddique.

Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir’s former central president Muhammad Yasin Arafat, district’s working committee member Abu Nakib, Mizanur Rahman, and Chhatrashibir Comilla east district president Ibrahim Faisal also spoke on the occasion.
