Almighty Allah has mentioned several decrees as obligatory in the Quran and Zakat or Infaq Fi Sabilillah is one of them. Allah makes it mandatory for the Sahibe Nesab. Sincere performer of this obligatory action will gains Allah’s favor and love. We all are hopeful to become Allah’s dearest servant. To gain such honor, we need Taqwa and Ramadan is the biggest opportunity to achieve Taqwa. Dhaka city South Jamaat has been conducting multiple noble and humanitarian activities in this locality. It has become possible for your assistance. So, please continue to provide assistance for the smooth continuation of these programs. The organization will be able to serve more people if you come forward to assist our noble activities.

He said this while addressing a gathering of Saheb-e-Nisab on Monday night. Dhaka city South organized the program. Central Executive Committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the program, while city South Secretary and Jamaat’s working committee member Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud hosted the event. Among others, noted religious scholar Dr. Khalilur Rahman Madani, central working committee member and Dhaka south city Nayeb-e-Ameer Monjurul Islam Bhuiyan and central majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka south city’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakir addressed the program. Jamaat’s central shura member and Dhaka south city’s Assistant Secretary Advocate Helal Uddin, Md. Delwar Hossain, Dr. Abdul Mannan, Kamal Hossen and others were present in the program.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we cordially wish that Almighty Allah will establish Quran-Sunnah based law in this country where 90 percent of the total population are Muslim. But this task is to be done by the people, particularly by the Muslims. Holy Quran has been revealed for humanity. We want to establish a welfare state based on the Quran. We are dreaming of a country where everything will be operated as the instructions of Allah. Allah has upgraded human beings with a higher status along with some responsibilities. Those responsibilities can be fulfilled properly only within an Islamic state.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is by the side of the people all necessary items in all circumstances. We firmly believe, our life and death is just a blessing from our creator. So we have to spend from our properties for the people’s welfare in order to attain the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. I am urging the solvent quarters to come forward to help the needy and oppressed people.

Nurul Islam Bulbul described the social welfare activities of the previous years and said, we hope, our Sahebe Nesab will extend their assistance more to continue these activities. We are more eager to expand our social services than ever. You can contribute to such activities by providing a portion of your Zakat money. We want to implement these tasks as per our plan. You can have full trust and the collected money of Zakat will be spent in the fixed categories set by Islam. The people who are passing days amid deep trouble, our fellow brothers are sincerely working for them. He urged the solvent and affluent sections to take part widely in the ongoing social welfare activities.
