Professor Habibur Rahman dies; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Former central working committee member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Comilla district Jamaat’s Ex-Ameer Professor Habibur Rahman has died this afternoon due to some old age complications. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He was 85. He left 4 sons, 6 daughters and many other relatives. His Namaj-e-Janaja (funeral prayer) will be held at 2 pm on 25th November in Ibn Taimia school and college ground.

Message of condolence

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following message of condolence on 23 November 2018 expressing deep shock at the death of Professor Habibur Rahman.

In the condolence message, Jamaat Ameer stated that Professor Habibur Rahman was a devoted figure for the Islamic movement. He has struggled throughout his life for the establishment of Islamic social system. He also played pivotal role for the advancement of Islamic movement and Islamic activities in Comilla district. He was very active in all the democratic movements of the country.

May Allah bless and forgive Professor Habibur Rahman. May Allah provide him safety. May Allah accept him as His distinguished guest and expand his grave. May Alllah turn all his vices into pieties. May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.

Jamaat Ameer also extended his sympathy to his mournful family and prayed for them so that they can endure the shock of this irreparable loss.
