Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that Jamaat-e-Islami is an ideological, people-oriented and welfare political organization. Jamaat holds the spirit of serving humanity. We have tried always to remain with the people in favorable and adverse situations. As a part of the same approaches, we have come here with winter clothes and seasonal fruits. This task should not be considered as a pity rather it is our moral obligation to the people. We do believe that you will consider our simple assistances in that way. Jamaat Ameer urged people of all classes and sections to come forward to help the destitute and underprivileged communities.

Jamaat Ameer said this while distributing seasonal fruits and winter clothes among the poor communities. Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka city North’s Kamrul South thana unit arranged the program. Among others, Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka city North Ameer Mohammad Salim Uddin and Dhaka city North unit’s Assistant Secretary Lashkar Mohammad Taslim, Kafrul North thana Ameer Abdul Matin Khan, Secretary Khan Habib Mostofa, Bhashantek Thana Ameer Alauddin Molla, Kafrul north thana Ameer Tareq Reza Tuhin, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar thana Ameer Abdul Awal Azam, Mirpur thana’s former Ameer Jashim Uddin were present on the occasion.

Jamaat Ameer said, the met experts assumed that, temperature may go down in the upcoming days. So, cold may turn into severe. As such, we came here with some winter clothes. Actually, the it is the duty of the government to solve citizen’s crisis. But the incumbent government is not inclined to do so rather they are busy in lingering their tenure only. As an ideological and people friendly organization, Jamaat cannot observe such situation indifferently. Jamaat’s welfare activities will continue in the upcoming days as well. He urged the people to ensure public welfare.
