Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar issued the following message of condolence on June 13 strongly condemning the killing of Iran's RGS chief, army chief of staff and two veteran nuclear scientists in the attack by the belligerent Israel and expressing deep sorrow for the victims.
In the condolence statement, he said that on Friday, June 13, at around 4 am local time, the Israeli forces carried out a fierce airstrike on several important sites in the Iran's capital Tehran and other places including nuclear and military installations and a ballistic missile factory. The head of the country's Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami, was killed in the pre-emptive strike by the belligerent Israeli air force. Also killed were the country's armed forces chief Mohammad Bagheri, Khatm-al Anbiya Central Headquarters commander Gholamali Rashid, nuclear scientist Fereydoun Abbasi, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, Abdul Hamid Minouchehr, Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari, Seyyed Amir Hossein Faki, Motlavizadeh, and Shamkhani, a top advisor to Iran's supreme religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. I strongly condemn this barbaric attack by the warmongering Israel and express my deep condolences to those who died in this attack.
He also said in the statement, "I seek forgiveness for the souls of the deceased and pray to the Almighty Allah to accept them as martyrs." May Allah Almighty accept all their good deeds and grant them a high position in Paradise. May Allah make their bereaved families and comrades to bear this loss, Ameen. We hope that the government and people of Iran will soon be able to overcome these great losses and grief.
