The European Union Ambassador to Bangladesh, Mr. Michael Miller met with the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, at the office of Jamaat Ameer on March 19, 2025. The meeting was held in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere. They exchanged greetings and discussed various contemporary issues.

The Ameer-e-Jamaat was accompanied by Jamaat-e-Islami's Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher and Jamaat Ameer's Foreign Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan.
