A courtesy meeting held on Monday, 9th September 2024 between Malaysian High Commissioner to Dhaka HE. Haznah Md. Hashim and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher.

During the meeting, the role of Jamaat-e-Islami in previous democratic movements and the constructive role of elected representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami in the National Parliament were discussed.

They also discussed various bilateral issues related to the interests of Bangladesh and Malaysia and wished for the development, progress and prosperity of both countries.
