Professor Mujib seeks assistance to make 30th December’s mass procession successful

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following statement on 29th December 2022 urging to make the pre-declared mass processions successful in the capital Dhaka tomorrow, on 30th December.

“On last 10th December, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahan delivered an address upholding the 10-point demands and declaring nationwide mass processions on 24th December. As there was another conference of the ruling party in Dhaka on that day, we deferred the date to 30th December only for Dhaka city to ensure political stability and culture of co-existence. Despite the barriers and obstructions of the government, mass processions were held peacefully across the country on that day. We expect tomorrow’s mass processions to be held peacefully in the capital as well. I am seeking the assistance of all concerned quarters to make the program peaceful and successful. The countrymen also expect that the government will assist to implement the program with the attitude of co-existence. Besides, we are calling upon the law enforcers to assist us in observing these pre-declared mass processions properly.
