Jamaat will not step back because of torture and oppression, says Maulana Abdul Halim

As unit-level leaders, we have to spread the message of Islam among all the people with deep sincerity in order to attain the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. Our workers should be built with knowledge and noble character. We should have a relationship with people of all professions. Unit organization to be elevated up to an expected level.

Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim said this while virtually addressing a conference of the unit president and secretaries organized by the Bogra West organizational district. The conference was presided over by the Bogra West organizational district Ameer Principal Maulana Abdul Haq Sarkar and hosted by district secretary Monjurul Islam Raju.

He further said, the government has chosen the path of torture and repression as they failed to tackle Jamaat-e-Islami ideologically. No one can subdue this organization. 5 top leaders including former Ameer have been executed. Hundreds of thousands of this organization experienced imprisonment. The incumbent Jamaat Ameer and other leaders are also imprisoned in connection with some false cases. But Jamaat will not step back from the movement for restoring people’s rights. We are demanding the unconditional release of all Jamaat leaders and activists.

He asserted that the people will give their reply against the ongoing oppression through ballot revolution. The ongoing movement for establishing a caretaker government is to be continued in a systematic and peaceful manner.

Central executive committee member Principal Shahabuddin addressed the program as a special guest. He put emphasis on strengthening grassroots organizations and the massive Dawah program. He urged the unit president and secretaries to play a proactive role in this regard. Among others, central Majlish-e-shura and Bogra region’s team member Maulana Abdur Rahim, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim, and Maulana Momtaz Uddin spoke on the occasion.
