Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer Professor Mujibur Rahman has said, every human being has to be a genuine servant to attain peace and salvation both in this world and the hereafter. And the main task of these servants is to work for establishing Islam in this world. The Prophets have discharged these responsibilities. Jamaat members became united to follow in the same footsteps. So, it is the requirement of our oath to unify the countrymen. Jamaat members have to take this responsibility on their shoulders.
Acting Ameer said this while virtually addressing a members’ conference organized by Sylhet South organizational district on 12th May, Friday. District Ameer Professor Abdul Hannan presided over the program which was hosted by district Secretary Nazrul Islam. Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair and central Majlish-e-Shura member Maulana Habibur Rahman addressed the program.
Professor Mujib said the best strive is, to tell the truth in front of the tyrants. The incumbent Awami League has become excessively authoritarian in comparison to all the previous governments. We should not remain silent and idle in this situation. We have to form all-out resistance against this oppressor regime. He urged everyone to be prepared to actively take part in the upcoming movement.
District’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Lokman Ahmed, Assistant Secretary Maulana Faruq Ahmed, Hafez Nazmul Islam, and Saifullah al Hossain also addressed the program.
