The government is continuing to misrule nationwide. Political leaders secured bail and were subsequently rearrested from the jail gate. It demonstrates that the government is not showing respect towards the judiciary and its order. The dissident people and opposition leaders are facing torture and repression in the name of police remand. Political leaders and activists are often being murdered or abducted.

Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman said this while virtually addressing a unit president’s conference of the Noakhali district.

Acting Ameer also said, Jamaat’s grassroots leaders should work sincerely to ensure the victory of the Islamic movement. Jamaat-e-Islami is working to restore people’s rights. All repressions and tortures will come to an end if Quranic law is established in the country.

Addressing the unit presidents, he said the biggest problem of the present day is deception and tricky characters. A man should maintain a sync between his words and works. Dishonest leadership is to be avoided and honest dynamic leaders should be replaced. If Islam is established, people’s miseries will be removed. People of all ages will be benefited. If requires, we have to face repressions like imprisonment, torture, and oppression. Our leaders should be prepared to facilitate the victory of Islam in the upcoming days.

Noakhali district Ameer Md. Ishaq Khondokar presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Maulana Nizam Uddin Faruq. Among others, central executive committee member Principal Ijjat Ullah, Comilla region’s team member Kazi Nazrul Islam Khadem, and district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Sayed Ahmed addressed the program.

Principal Ijjat Ullah said, if we fail to establish a Quranic society, subsequently addiction, eve teasing, bribery and corruption will be increased. People’s rights will be established through the Islamic government. If honest leadership is ensured, the state will be modified and corrected as well. We have to reach the grassroots to establish honest leadership.
