Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer Professor Mujibur Rahman urged the government to keep the prices of the essential commodities within the common’s reach. He said this while virtually addressing the members’ conference of the Chuadanga-Jhinaidah region on 11th March, Saturday.
Acting Ameer stated that the happiness of this temporary world is not our target; rather we want to ensure betterment in the hereafter. So, despite all the suffering and obstacle, we have to follow the directives of Almighty Allah to attain salvation in the hereafter. We have to work with due patience for bringing positive changes in society. Right now, the political condition of the country is very critical. The national economy is going to be collapsed. The people are crying for survival. Prices of essential commodities go beyond people’s capacity. Under this circumstance, we are urging the government to keep the price of the commodities within the capacity of the people.
Jhinaidah district Professor Ali Azam Md. Abu Bakar delivered the inaugural speech at the conference. Dar-ul-Quran was presented by Jessore-Kushtia region’s team member Dr. Alamgir Bishash. Among others, central executive committee member and regional coordinator Mobarak Hossain, Assistant regional coordinator (Jessore-Kushtia) Maulana Azizur Rahman, and Chuadanga district Jamaat Ameer Advocate Ruhul Amin addressed the program.
