Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim said the incumbent government failed totally to manage and run the country. They have seized people’s rights away. So, the government should be dethroned immediately for the betterment of the nation.
He said the countrymen do not believe this government. So, there is no alternative but to restore the caretaker government system to hold a fair and credible election. Right now, a movement is going on for establishing a caretaker government. The movement should be intensified ignoring all fear and threats and people have to participate actively.
Maulana Abdul Halim said this while addressing a workshop of the Upazila level working committee members, organized by Dinajpur south organizational district on 11th March Saturday.
District Ameer Md. Anwarul Islam presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Saidul Islam Shaikat. Among others, Jamaat’s central executive committee member Principal Ijjat Ullah, central working committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s assistant coordinator Principal Maulana Momtaz Uddin, Dinajpur south organizational district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Muhaddith Dr. Enamul Haque and Assistant Secretary Hafizul Islam addressed the program as special guests.
