Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman said, the incumbent government has kept Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and several other leaders unjustifiably. But the advancement of the Islamic movement can never be thwarted by repression and detention. He demanded immediate release of Jamaat Ameer and all other detained leaders.
He said Almighty Allah has sent Prophets and messengers with some noble cause and mission. Jamaat-e-Islami has been following the same footsteps. So, the establishments are hatching conspiracy to foil the Islamic movement. However, as an activist of the Islamic movement, we should try to build ourselves as pure and ideal Muslims.
Acting Ameer said this while addressing virtually in a training session of the Upazila level shura and working committee members of Jessore east and west organizational districts.
Jessore east district Ameer Master Nurun Nabi presided over the session, Among others, Jamaat’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary General and former MP Hamidur Rahman Azad, central executive committee member, and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain, central working committee member and region’s assistant coordinator Maulana Azizur Rahman, team member Dr. Alamgir Bishash, Maulana Asheq-e-Elahi, Principal Ali Mohammad Muhsin and Jessore west district’s Acting Ameer Maulana Shihab Uddin addressed the program.
Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum said the current educational system has been launched to destroy the youth at the beginning stage. The government is also pushing the young generation toward destruction by removing religious items from the educational system. He condemned such initiatives of the government and also called for making religious learning compulsory.
Hamidur Rahman Azad said, there is no alternative but public support to build a just society in a systematic way. So, we have to secure public confidence by serving the people wholeheartedly.
