Bangladesh’s politics will be changed significantly, says Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher said Bangladesh is almost debris now. People have no rights here. They have no means to survive. Bangladesh has become a land of torture and repression. There is no democracy, people have voting rights and a congenial movement to live peacefully. We will not accept any election under this government. Very soon, a dramatic change will take place within the political periphery of Bangladesh.

He said this while joining a workers’ conference organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Chouddogram Upazila on 21st October. Chouddogram Upazila south unit Ameer Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman presided over the program while Chouddogram Upazila north Ameer Md. Belal Hossain hosted the program. Among others, Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, Comilla city Ameer Kazi Deen Mohammad, former Comilla south district Ameer Abdus Sattar, Comilla south district’s acting Ameer Advocate Muhammad Shahjahan, secretary Dr. AKM Syed Sarwar Uddin and Assistant Secretary Dr. Abdul Mubin addressed the program.

Former Upazila Ameer VP Shahab Uddin, Chhatrashibir’s central literary affairs secretary Zahidul Islam, Upazila south secretary Jainal Abedin Patwari, Upazila north secretary Abdur Rahim, Towhidul Islam, and others were present in the program.

Maulana ATM Masum said Jamaat’s main purpose is to stay firm and sincere as per the faith and belief. We have to overcome this path sincerely and consciously. Mutual relationships and noble exercises should be focused. Preaching activities should be regularised. We should avoid all types of deceiving elements and have to work for our personal salvation.
