Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said that we have to work for the people and extend help to those in crisis. In addition, to save them from hellfire, we have to offer them good advice and simultaneously refrain them from doing bad deeds. Only then, the greater benefit of the people will be ensured. He urged all manpower of the party to discharge this duty.
He said this while addressing the workers’ conference of the greater Faridpur region by joining virtually.
Addressing the Program as the chief guest, Jamaat Ameer further said, capitalism, communism, socialism, and other man-made doctrines failed to provide peace. Islam is the only guarantee to secure peace. The leaders and activists of the Islamic movement should remain firm on all occasions. All the prophets and messengers had faced torture and repression. But they continued to work courageously. We have to convey the message of Islam to the people. It is the Prophetic sunnah. In the absence of the Prophet, the responsibility lies upon the Muslim Ummah. We have to continue the same duties sincerely.
He said we should compete with one another in doing noble deeds. We have to make sincere efforts to expand our organizational activities. Only honest and qualified leadership can bring change to society. We have to consider the martyrdom of our leaders as a good example for becoming more confident to secure Islam’s victory in this land.
Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General, former MP and Faridpur region’s coordinator AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad presided the program which was hosted by central organizing secretary Delwar Hossain. Jamaat’s central executive committee member Saiful Alam Khan Milon addressed the program as the special guest.
