People are the key factor of politics. We have to know the history of the land, where we are living. Although, it is being said verbally that, people are the source of power in Bangladesh, but practically, administration, civil administration, different forces, bureaucrats, and international forces are controlling the politics of this country. Our parties are divided into 4 categories and they are atheism, secularism, nationalism, and Islam.
Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher said this while addressing a two-day long member’s conference of Nilphamari district Jamaat on the 26th and 27th of August.
Dr. Taher said the election of 1988 was just a bad example, full of rigging and violence. No major party did not participate in the election. Awami League was desperate in those days and similarly at present as well. All political forces should continue the movement against the government unitedly. This government must be ousted through a massive and broad base government. The people will not take part in any election under the regime of Awami League government.
Among others, Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator and Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, central executive committee member Abdur Rab, central organizing secretary Maulana Momtazuddin, and central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal addressed the program.
Maulana Abdul Halim said Jamaat’s permanent programs are fixed based on the teachings of the Quran and Hadith. We have to continue the programs keeping in mind in the hereafter to ensure the expected standard of this organization. We should not have any formality or artificiality in our activities. Our tasks and words should be balanced and interrelated. The members of the organization have to work with the spirit of forgiveness and generosity.
District Nayeb-e-Ameer, working committee members, Upazila Ameer, and members attended this training session.
