Jamaat’s members are those people who maintains his deal or contract with Allah till his death and who have that mentality to sacrifice everything for the sake of Almighty Allah. Such a person considers all test and tribulations as a part of his/her life. Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Porwar said these while addressing the virtual member’s conference of Panchagarh district Jamaat on 8 August, 2021.
Addressing the program as the chief guest, Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami wants to transform Bangladesh into a peaceful and prosperous country. To ensure this, party’s members have to play key role. We can go ahead towards establishing an Islamic society if we ensure our personal development. Besides, we will be able to attain our salvation in the hereafter. Almighty Allah has a good message for them who have taken the oath of loyalty.
Regarding corona pandemic, Professor Porwar said, I am expressing sympathy for those victims who had died and infected with corona virus. He prayed to Almighty Allah seeking blessing to get rid of pandemic. He also urged all the people to be vaccinated and to help others in this process.
Addressing the program, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim highlighted some golden stories of the previous generations and drew attention of the members about their duties and obligations by referring from Quran and Hadith. Panchagarh district Jamaat Ameer Professor Iqbal Hossain presided over the program. Darsul Hadith was presented by Jamaat’s organizing Secretary Principal Maulana Momotaz Uddin. Among others, party’s central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal and Panchagarh district Jamaat’s former Ameer and Ex- Upazila chairman Maulana Abdul Khaleq addressed the program.
