We should have the mentality to serve all irrespective of political identities during this pandemic, says Secretary General

Gaibandha district’s Jamaat’s half-yearly member’s conference held on 7 August, 2021 morning through virtual technologies.

Addressing the program, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islam’s Secretary General and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, “we are not the real owner of our lives. Almighty Allah is the real owner. Without His will, we have nothing to do in this world. During the ongoing pandemic situation, we all should have the mentality to serve all irrespective of political identities during this pandemic. Everybody has to sacrifice from his position. We have to spread the message of Islam among the general masses. We should play sincere role to improve our standard. We should be enriched with the quality to rule the country through noble services.

Addressing the program as the special guest, Maulana Abdul Halim drew the attention of all the members in performing Salah, and also about maintaining trust and humanitarian tasks. Jamaat’s central organizing secretary Maulana Momotaz Uddin Ahmed urged the members with due responsibilities. Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s team member Dr. Abdur Rahim Sarkar put emphasis on fulfilling the gaps and working in a planned way. All the Jamaat leaders offered prayer seeking blessings from Almighty Allah to get rid of corona virus.

Gaibandha district Jamaat Ameer Md. Abdul Karim presided over the program, while district Secretary Maulana Johurul Haq coordinated the conference.
