Maulana Abdul Halim said we came here on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. People should serve others, particularly in critical periods. A political party does not mean only money laundering and corruption. It does not stand for having a luxurious life or suppressing the opposition party activists. Politics actually refers to serving people. Jamaat-e-Islami tries to help people during various natural and man-made calamities. Despite all barriers and repression, Jamaat will continue for the betterment of society and the state.

We do not want to be conventional political leaders, rather we want to serve people. Tacking all vested quarters, we are adamant to continue our welfare activities.
