Financial assistances and newly constructed houses handed over to the victims

Jamaat does not believe in discrimination and differences among the citizens- Maulana Abdul Halim

On last 5th September, at around 12.30 am, 3 men namely Dhonojoy (Kursha union), Anisur Rahman (Soyar union) and Anwar Hosaain (Harialkuti union) were killed near Kharubaj bridge adjacent Soleyashah bajar of Taraganj Upazila of Rangpur district. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim met the 3 families and extended condolences to them and also provided them financial assistance.

Provati Rani, mother of Dhonojoy, along with his widow wife Sri Krishna Rani and child daughter Pinki and son Partha received the money. Anisur Rahman’s wife’s younger brother Kazi Masud Rana received money for his family and Rafiqa Khatun wife of Anwar Hossain received the money for their family.

Maulana Abdul Halim said it is very difficult to tolerate the pains of losing near and dear ones. Death is inevitable but such an accident is unexpected. Jamaat-e-Islami has come here to take your side in this painful moment. Jamaat does not believe in differences. Jamaat gives priority to humanity first irrespective of religion, cast and race.

The program was arranged in a local auditorium. Among others, Rangpur district Ameer and former Upazila chairman Professor Golam Rabbani, district Secretary Maulana Enamul Haq, Taraganj Upazila Ameer Maulana Zainal Abedin and Secretary Maulana Rafuqul Hossain and other local leaders were present on the occasion.

Houses handed over in Kaunia of Rangpur district

Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahma visited the flood affected area of Kaunia Upazila of Rangpur district on last 18th July. He gave instruction to the local organization to conduct rehabilitation activities in post-flood period. The district organization have worked accordingly

As a part of the rehabilitation work, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim handed over 3 houses to 3 families of Chorgonai village of Modhupur union under Kaunia Upazila of Rangpur district. Among others, Jamaat’s central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Rangpur city Ameer ATM Azam Khan, Rangpur district Ameer and former Upazila chairman Professor Golam Rabbani, district Secretary Maulana Enamul Haq, Kaunia Upazila Ameer Maulana Abdus Salam and other local leaders were present at that time.
