Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has decided to provide financial assistance to the students of those families who have been affected by the disastrous flood of this year, particularly to the SSC, Dakhil or equivalent examinees. Initially, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has formed a special fund of 55 lakh taka to meet the purpose.

Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in this regard stated, “It is highly required now to provide financial assistance to the students of those families who have been affected by the disastrous flood of this year, particularly to the SSC, Dakhil or equivalent examinees. They are the future of the nation. We all should make an all-out effort to keep their dream alive. We are seeking the blessing and cordial assistance of our fellow countrymen about this issue.

He further said, our government and all of us should come forward to ensure that none of these potential kids are neglected. As such, I am urging the government, different NGOs, organizations, political parties and institutions, social and humanitarian organizations, and the affluent corners to extend their helping hand to these poor and helpless people.
