Jamaat Ameer distribues gift items in Fenchuganj and Mogla Bazar

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman stated that the worst ever flood has come for the believers as a test. It will be tough to overcome the losses of lives and properties. But to turn around, the government and the affluent quarters should make combined efforts. Despite being an oppressed organization, Jamaat has taken a stance on the side of the flood victims. Jamaat’s leaders and activists rushed to the flood-affected area of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts. I would like to thank all Jamaat people and other people who have been helping the flood victims. May Allah bless you all.

He said this while distributing gift items among the flood victims in Mogla Bazar Renga Madrasa adjacent areas and Chottishgram of Fenchuganj Upazila today.

Jamaat Ameer said, we have visited all the flood affected areas of Sylhet and Sunamganj districts. After listenting to the casualties and other losses, it became very difficult to restrain myself. Our gifts were very limited in compare to their requirements. However, we cannot loss hope about getting the blessings of Almighty Allah. It is the government and the affluent people’s duty to extend their helping hand to this flood victims.

Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka city South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, Sylhet city Ameer Muhammad Fakhrul Islam, Sylhet south organizational district Ameer Principal Abdul Hannan, Fenchuganj Upazila’s former chairman Saifullah Al Hossain were present on the occasion as the special guests.

In other gift distribution programs, Fenchuganj Upazila Ameer Imran Ahmad Chowdhury, Nayeb-e-Ameer Abul Kalam Azad, Mogla Bazar thana Ameer Sabbir Ahmad and Secretary Nazmul Islam, Chhatrashibir Sylhet district west president Sahar Ahmad, Mogla Bazar thana Jamaat leader Fazlur Rahman, Kamrul Islam Opu and other local leaders were present.
