In the program, Professor Mia Golam Porwar said that the ideology of Prophet (peace be upon Him) was to assist people during calamities. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to follow the same ideologies and as such we came here to help the victim families of the Shitalakkhya river launch capsize tragedy. Actually, it is the government’s obligation to operate such activities. But the government failed to do so. It is really pathetic and unfortunate for us.

This incident clarifies that the incumbent government is not sincere to establish rule of law. I am praying for the deceased souls and praying to Allah to accept them as martyr. Besides, I am urging the concerned authorities to provide financial assistances to the victims and also to bring the offenders to the justice.
