Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman sent a letter of felicitation on 29th May to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after he won re-election in a historic run-off for the consecutive third time.
In the letter he said, I am congratulating you on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the people of Bangladesh, and my personal behalf for being re-elected for a third consecutive time.
The Muslim Ummah expects that your dynamic leadership will play a pivotal role to resolve the existing crisis. Your leadership will be very vital in improving the bilateral relationship with Bangladesh and other relevant issues between these two countries.
I am wishing you good health, long life, and success as a President.
