Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament Professor Mia Golam Parwar issued a statement on 8th November 2024 condemning and protesting the uncivil behavior of some fascism supporters against Law Advisor of the Interim Government Professor Asif Nazrul.

In the statement, he said, “Inappropriate behavior against an advisor of country’s interim on foreign soil is not only undesirable but also a severe affront to tarnish the dignity of the country and its people.”

He further added, “On Thursday, November 7, in the evening local time, while traveling to France, some miscreants demonstrated arrogant and indecent behavior against Professor Asif Nazrul at Geneva Airport in Switzerland. The also chanted party slogans in support of fascist force Awami League. We strongly condemn and protest this unacceptable incident. We urge the authorities to identify those offenders and to take appropriate legal action against them.”
