Jamaat Acting Ameer urges all to observe mother language day with due respect

Bangladesh Jamaat-e- has urged the countrymen to observe coming ‘February 21’ as the International Mother Language and Martyr Day with due respect and honour.
In a statement on February 18, Jamaat Acting Ameer Makbul Ahmad also called upon all units of the party to observe the day with due respect and honour.
He said the Bengali language obtained recognition as the state language and the international mother language in exchange of blood and sacrifice of the language martyrs.
The nation will remember the language martyrs, who sacrificed them on February 21 in 1952 for establishing Bengali language as the state language, forever.
The Jamaat Acting Ameer remembered the language martyrs with due honour and prayed forgiveness for them from almighty Allah.
He laid stress on implementing dream of the language martyrs through establishing Bengali language in all sectors duly and protecting it from foreign education and culture.
