Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami acting secretary general Dr Shafiqur Rahman has expressed deep concern at the tragic incident of killing of an official of Saudi Embassy in Dhaka Khalaf al Ali by bullet of miscreants at Gulshan of the city.
In a statement on March 6, he said that the incident indicated how much deteriorated the law and order situation in the country.
The government extremely failed to ensure security of life of an official of a foreign embassy; there was no security of life and wealth of both the national and foreign citizens in the country though ensuring their securities was the responsibility of the government.
The government failed to play its duty, he said, adding that there was no longer right of the
government to remain in power.
Dr Shafiqur Rahman demanded of the government to immediately arrest the miscreants involved in the killing incident and ensure punishment to them.
