Unlawful arrest of Jamaat central leader Dr Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher protested

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Acting Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan strongly condemned and protested unlawful arrest of party’s central executive member Dr Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Jamaat leader said that the government arrested the Jamaat leader unlawfully to put a halt on the opposition’s ongoing anti-government movement.
He warned the government saying that the anti-government movement couldn’t be thwarted through arresting and repressing on the leaders, rather it will turn into massive and colossal.
The Jamaat leader called upon the people to raise their united voice against the tyranny government’s repression.
Besides, he demanded immediate release of the opposition party backed leaders including Abdullah Md Taher.
