Jamaat Ameer condemns brutal terrorist attack in London; calls for global resistance against terrorism

Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following statement on 6th June, 2017 expressing deep concern at the massive terrorist attack, took place in London Bridge and Borough Market of the United Kingdom on last 3rd June, night that killed 7 people and left 50 others injured.

“The tragic terrorist attack took place in London Bridge and Borough Market of the United Kingdom on last 3rd June, night that killed 7 people and left 50 others injured is certainly an offence against the humanity. We have no word to condemn this barbaric incident.

Whoever carries a terrorist attack under whatsoever banner or platform is condemnable. The world civilization is under great threat because of the increasing strike of the terrorists. All the people with good conscience must raise their voice altogether against the vicious act of terrorism. I hope that the government of the United Kingdom will be able to resist terrorism in order to ensure peace, order and security in the country.

I am extending sympathy to the all the mournful victim families, to the people of the United Kingdom and the British government for this tragic incident. I am also praying for the quick recovery of the injured peoples.”
